SCFWB Announces partnership with Protect My Ministry
Proper Screening of Church employees and volunteers can help to both protect your ministry from problems and defer liability, but it can be a difficult and confusing process. That’s why the SCFWB State Association has teamed up with Protect My Ministry, to provide churches and Organizations which are members of the State Association to get background checks on their employees and volunteers at group prices.
Go to http://www.scfwb.com/back-ground-checks/ and follow the prompts, to start screening today.
It is recommended that you give them a call BEFORE signing up: 800-319-5581. There are several technical and package options which can be helpful and it’s always easier to get it right the first time than it is to fix it later.
Andy Moore (Brazil) Thank you for being a part of this exciting journey of faith through your prayers, giving, and encouragement. One day in heaven, you will be able to meet Luiz Carlos and Rachel, and many more like them and know that you had a part in their journey to the Father’s house.
Bobby Poole (Brazil) Please pray for Bro. Bobby as he is currently stateside. He is attending the National Convention and will visit sick family members while he is here.
Carlisle Hanna (India) Please be in prayer for many in the Bihar province as flooding has caused much damage throughout the region including some FW Baptists. Though the waters are receding damage still remains.
David Aycock (Brazil) Annette and I are grateful for your prayers and support through the years. David Please remember their ministry in prayer.
Jonathan/Amy Postlewaite Have returned to Bulgaria today please remember them in prayer.
Neil/ Mandi Morgan (Spain) We praise the Lord that our pastor José Manuel has been hired at a nursing home. He is thrilled with the provision of the Lord for his family, but also for the opportunity for ministry this position provides. We are also thankful for the opportunity Neil had to preach a sermon series from Nehemiah. Please continue to pray for the ministry of the church and the relationships we are building here. Thank each of you for being people with “a mind to work” to help us minister in Spain.
Randy/Kris Valandingham (Aiken) Please remember the work in Aiken
Tim/ Kristi Johnson (Spain) Our son, Alejandro, was able to spend some time in South Carolina, after attending the “Truth and Peace” conference and the National Association of Free Will Baptists. He enjoyed getting to be with Mimi and Pa (Kristi’s parents), as well as everyone at Westside FWB Church in Johnsonville. THANKS to many of you for your gifts to help with his expenses this summer!

*Danielle Seaton (Wife of Rev Brad Seaton, St. John’s) (SC) has started walking a lot more. She hasn’t needed the wheel chair in over a month or so now. Her back pain continues to get better week by week. She now completely off of all pain medication and is doing pretty good. She is still having extreme pain in her right leg but we spoke with a neurologist Monday. It was determined that the leg pain is not related to her back. It is a pinched nerve at her hip due to her extended wheelchair use. They hope it will heal within 6 months to a year. We both are so very thankful and forever grateful for all the prayers that have gone up for her. I am so thankful to be a part of such a great state of praying men of God and praying churches. I do ask you to continue to pray for her as she continues to recover and heal. We both are very optimistic about the future and her surgery outcome. God has truly blessed us more than we ever deserved. Once again thank you all for your prayers.

A Pastor’s Plea for His Church
Eph 4:1 ¶ I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
The Apostle Paul has written this letter to the church that he founded in Ephesus. This place is a place that he has put much labor, and much of himself into. He is invested personally in these people, if they hurt he hurts, if they mourn he mourns. He is also more than anything interested in their personal walk with God.
Paul like John had no greater pleasure than to know that his spiritual children were walking closely with the Lord. I bet your pastor feels very much the same way.
