Mission North America Offering- November 24

Andy Moore (Brazil) After a decade of praying, laboring, building, and organizing, the First FWB Church of Juiz de Fora has transitioned into the hands of a Brazilian pastor. This local church has reached the measures of an autonomous church which are: self-governing, self-propagating, and self-supporting. The new pastor, Ricardo has previously pastored two FWB churches in this region.  He is a talented musician, singer, and an excellent preacher and teacher of the Word of God. He is also gifted in the area of administration and has great organizational skills. Our family will continue ministering in Juiz de Fora in a support role into 2020 to ensure a smooth transition. We are still excited and burdened to take the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to Brazil and Beyond. There is still so much to be done.Thank you for your prayers, partnership, and support that makes what we do here in Brazil possible. Every soul that is reached in this church from now until eternity will be due, in part, to your support and prayers for this ministry.  The Moores

Bobby Poole (Brazil) Two different times this past week, I saw a young woman, that I have known since her child-hood, picking things out of garbage bags, on the streets of the Marincek area of Ribeirão.. It was because of her family that we started the Marincek Church!  For some time now, she has been walking and living in the ways of the world! She has had 3 children, out of wed-lock. Please pray for Angela! No doubt, there are hundreds and maybe thousands of people around the world, who have heard the Gospel through our FWB missionaries and Churches, that today are walking in the ways of the Devil! Let us pray for these precious souls , that they will repent of their sins and return to the Lord.

Carlisle Hanna (India) Is Currently Stateside. Please pray for the work in India as well as for the pastors and evangelists currently serving there; many amid daily persecution. Also pray for the next Friends of India meeting scheduled for this Friday.

David Aycock  (Brazil) Thank you South Carolina for your prayers and financial support. We are rejoicing over the spiritual growth that several in our church have manifested. We are preparing and training leaders to take on different roles in the church including Sunday School teaching. The Lord has given us progress in the construction of our Christian School. We hope to finish the construction soon and organize and train our staff and teachers for the 2021 School year (Feb-Dec). David and Annette Aycock

Jonathan/Amy Postlewaite (Bulgaria) We have recently had a couple of encouraging developments in our search for places to host Christmas parties. Last week I had a very promising conversation with the director of a community center in one village. We’ve also received heard from a lady in another village who Amy has been in contact with and she speaks like it is very likely that we will be able to do something there, she may even be willing to help organize it. Please be praying that we will definitely be able to do something in these places and that we will find several more open doors in other villages. In the next few weeks I will be starting another English club for beginners, something which several people have been asking about for a while. Please pray that all of our English teaching activities will help us to make solid relationships with people and that we will be able to share the gospel through these relationships. One of the groups who has been hard to reach here in Pleven is Bulgarian university students. Last weekend we had the privilege of hosting a couple who work with a evangelistic campus ministry here in Bulgaria and during their time we were able to connect with some Christians students here in Pleven. Please pray for their efforts to make inroads among this group and that we will be able to provide whatever support might be needed.

Neil/ Mandi Morgan (Spain) Please pray as they are laboring diligently in the Alcala Church as well as for some new opportunities in the neighboring town. nmorgan@iminc.org

Randy/Kris Valandingham (Aiken) Please pray for Sis. Kris as she had a fall recently and broke her wrist.

Tim/ Kristi Johnson (Spain) We had the wonderful BLESSING of having Chris & Misty Todd and Scott & Jenny Ard visiting with us this past week.  We are so thankful for them taking time away from their lives and ministries to come and experience Spain.  Not only did we get to show them some interesting sights near where we live, but they were also able to minister in both the Alpedrete Church and the Alcalá de Henares Church.

Mirial Gainer (Japan) Just a little update. I broke the radius bone in my left arm

Monday. Doctor said it was a clean break and should heal in about 6 weeks. Being in a cast makes taking care of Mom more difficult. Appreciate your prayers. Please remember her and her mother in your prayers.

*Rev. James Childers (Beaver Creek) Please continue to remember him in prayer, as he continues to have cancer treatments.

Just like Me

Many of you are aware of the fact that I just returned from visiting with missionaries in Spain. I am always reminded that though the names and faces may change, though languages differ, and styles look differently, people are essentially the same. They still are born lost without Jesus Christ, they still struggle to get through this life the best way that they know how, and each person is still looking for hope in someone or something.

I am thankful that the Good News of Christ’s redemption of man work everywhere you go.

Tit 2:11 ¶ For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Blessings in Jesus Dear Name!

Chris Todd

SCFWB Executive Secretary
