Mission North America Offering- November 24

Andy Moore (Brazil) After a decade of praying, laboring, building, and organizing, the First FWB Church of Juiz de Fora has transitioned into the hands of a Brazilian pastor. This local church has reached the measures of an autonomous church which are: self-governing, self-propagating, and self-supporting. The new pastor, Ricardo has previously pastored two FWB churches in this region.  He is a talented musician, singer, and an excellent preacher and teacher of the Word of God. He is also gifted in the area of administration and has great organizational skills. Our family will continue ministering in Juiz de Fora in a support role into 2020 to ensure a smooth transition. We are still excited and burdened to take the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to Brazil and Beyond. There is still so much to be done.Thank you for your prayers, partnership, and support that makes what we do here in Brazil possible. Every soul that is reached in this church from now until eternity will be due, in part, to your support and prayers for this ministry.  The Moores

Bobby Poole (Brazil) Two different times this past week, I saw a young woman, that I have known since her child-hood, picking things out of garbage bags, on the streets of the Marincek area of Ribeirão.. It was because of her family that we started the Marincek Church!  For some time now, she has been walking and living in the ways of the world! She has had 3 children, out of wed-lock. Please pray for Angela! No doubt, there are hundreds and maybe thousands of people around the world, who have heard the Gospel through our FWB missionaries and Churches, that today are walking in the ways of the Devil! Let us pray for these precious souls , that they will repent of their sins and return to the Lord.

Carlisle Hanna (India) Is Currently Stateside. Please pray for the work in India as well as for the pastors and evangelists currently serving there; many amid daily persecution. Also pray for the next Friends of India meeting scheduled for this Friday.

David Aycock  (Brazil) Thank you South Carolina for your prayers and financial support. We are rejoicing over the spiritual growth that several in our church have manifested. We are preparing and training leaders to take on different roles in the church including Sunday School teaching. The Lord has given us progress in the construction of our Christian School. We hope to finish the construction soon and organize and train our staff and teachers for the 2021 School year (Feb-Dec). David and Annette Aycock

To schedule a service give them a call at @ 304-731-9192 or email them at fkellydillon@aol.com We pray for you all and your work. May Christ lay his hand on all your endeavors and prosper you.

Jonathan/Amy Postlewaite (Bulgaria) We were excited to have several first-time attenders at our meetings over the weekend, including a family with two children and one on the way. Please be praying for this family as they are dealing with some personal issues. Pray that they will find the peace that can only be found in Jesus Christ and that they will turn to the Bible for guidance on how to raise their children. Our various English teaching activities are once again up and running. I am planning on starting up a new beginners group once we move into our new location. Please pray that we will be able to use each of these opportunities to not only help people grow in their ability to speak and to understand English, but also to build relationships in which we can help people on a much deeper level by introducing them to Jesus Christ. When Amy was expecting our new baby she was able to connect with several other expectant mothers, several of which were having their first child. She has been able to keep those connections and now they (with their babies) get together for lunch or coffee and Amy. Please pray that Amy will find opportunities in these times to not only share about her prior experience of caring for children, but also about how her faith has shaped her life.

Neil/ Mandi Morgan (Spain) Please pray as we’re preparing for an exciting opportunity in a neighboring pueblo. nmorgan@iminc.org

Randy/Kris Valandingham (Aiken) We thank everyone for their continual prayers and support for the work here at Rejoice Fellowship. Please remember Bro Randy as he recovers from a recent stint. Please pray for their grandson Easton who is have tests run to find out why he is not speaking and walking as well as the cause for multiple seizures.

Tim/ Kristi Johnson (Spain) We had a little bit of disappointing news last week when we went to our target area for our English Conversation class.  The owner of the restaurant where we meet told us that he has decided to close the restaurant.  We have really enjoyed getting to spend time each week with him and his family, so we are sad to see him close.  But God has already provided a new place to meet, and we are looking forward to our first session this week at the new place.  Please pray with us that God will continue to bless these conversation times as we develop relationships with the people who attend.

Mirial Gainer (Japan) Just a little update. I broke the radius bone in my left arm

Monday. Doctor said it was a clean break and should heal in about 6 weeks. Being in a cast makes taking care of Mom more difficult. Appreciate your prayers. Please remember her and her mother in your prayers.

*Rev. James Childers (Beaver Creek) Please continue to remember him in prayer, as he continues to have cancer treatments.

*Rev. Sherwood Lee (South Carolina) Please pray for brother Sherwood as he has had bad back pain recently.

This day in History

On this day in 1936 The Hoover Dam began to transmit electricity to thousands of homes in Los Angeles. Many people are unaware that the production of electricity was a secondary function of the dam. Its primary function was to preserve and distribute a more precious resource…water.

As we think about the Hoover Dam and its functions I am reminded of an even more valuable resource. Jesus Christ is the light of the world and the water of life.

Blessings in Jesus Dear Name!
