Andy Moore (Brazil) After a decade of praying, laboring, building, and organizing, the First FWB Church of Juiz de Fora has transitioned into the hands of a Brazilian pastor. This local church has reached the measures of an autonomous church which are: self-governing, self-propagating, and self-supporting. The new pastor, Ricardo has previously pastored two FWB churches in this region. He is a talented musician, singer, and an excellent preacher and teacher of the Word of God. He is also gifted in the area of administration and has great organizational skills. Our family will continue ministering in Juiz de Fora in a support role into 2020 to ensure a smooth transition. We are still excited and burdened to take the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to Brazil and Beyond. There is still so much to be done.Thank you for your prayers, partnership, and support that makes what we do here in Brazil possible. Every soul that is reached in this church from now until eternity will be due, in part, to your support and prayers for this ministry. The Moores
Bobby Poole (Brazil) I was at Sam´s here in Ribeirão and a fellow walked up to me. I looked at him and called out his name! I had not seen him for years. His family were some of our first converts, as we started the First FWB Church. They moved from our area of town but his mother is faithful to a Baptist church in her area. I have known this family for over 50 years. His sister was one of our first students at the Seminary/Bible Institute when it opened in Jaboticabal. She later died of a serious bone infection. He does not live close to any of our Fwb Churches and is going to a Menonite Church. It was good to have this contact with the him. Only the Lord knows how many lives have been touched by our missionaries over the 80+ years of IM doing our part in reaching the world for the Lord Jesus!!! Please continue your prayers for me as I try to encourage our pastors and leaders. There is still a lot of work to be done!
Carlisle Hanna (India) Pray for Brother Carlisle Hanna as he continues in India. He is working with the pastors, church planters, and evangelist as they seek to reach several villages. They hope to establish churches among these people. Pray for those several young men who wish to attend Bible College. Pray for several who were baptized recently. Praise the Lord for the good VBS in South India. Please continue to pray the villages where Pastor Phillip who died recently worked which need pastors. Pray that Brother Carlisle will be able to renew his visa in August without difficulty. Praise the Lord for souls coming to Christ!
David Aycock (Brazil) We are grateful for your prayers and financial support. Thank you for partnering with us for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission. Please pray for the couple Filipe and Eduarda. They accepted the Lord as their Savior in the month of May. Now they are going through our discipleship lessons. Annette is teaching 22 of our ladies an eight week course “The Christian Woman”. We are hoping to finish the Christian School building in early Fall. Please pray with us that the Lord will supply. David and Annette

Jonathan/Amy Postlewaite (Bulgaria)
This week our two daughters and I along with the Provow and Awtrey families are participating in a summer camp connected with Child Evangelism Fellowship. We are excited about several young people who are participating in this camp for the first time this year. Please pray that the Lord would speak in a powerful way to the heart of each camp participant. Pray that they would respond to the call to follow and place their trust in Him! Next week the girls and I will be going to another Christian camp in a different part of the country. Two mothers and their children from the village of Odarne will be going with us us. One of the mothers is not a Christian. Please pray that God will work in the lives of all those who are attending this camp. Please pray for our continued efforts to meet new people in our city. Summer is a great time to do this because more people are out late with their families in the center of town. Later in the summer, however, every one leaves to go on vacation. Pray that we will be able to take advantage of the times when we are able to be around people and that God will lead us to people with whom we can start relationships and share the Gospel.
Matt/Hailie Deckard (Ecuador) Please pray for the Deckard’s as they are stateside right now. firstname.lastname@example.org
Neil/ Mandi Morgan (Spain) A couple from our church recently moved to a new town. The town is young and growing quickly in population. We are currently planning an outreach in this town. Please pray for the permissions we need to be granted from the government, and that God would begin even now to open the necessary doors and the hearts of the people for a work there.
Randy/Kris Valandingham (Aiken) We thank everyone for their continual prayers and support for the work here at Rejoice Fellowship. Please remember Bro Randy as he recovers from a recent stint.
Tim/ Kristi Johnson (Spain) This Wednesday, Ana will arrive back in Spain after her time in the States for the Truth & Peace Leadership Conference. We are looking forward to seeing her and hugging her neck after her being away for a month. We will have just a little over a week until Alejandro will be heading back to the US to return to Welch for his second year of studies. So, needless to say, we will be enjoying having BOTH kids here in Spain for the next week! Thanks for your prayers for both of them as they have been and will be traveling during this time!

Some things to know when sailing away with Jesus
Lu 8:22 ¶ Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.
My wife and I recently took a cruise to the Bahamas. It was nice. One thing I remember is the cruise coordinator coming over the loud speaker at the beginning of the cruise in order to give some detailed instructions on what we should expect. Here are some things that you might want to know before sailing away with Jesus.
- Storms still come to God’s people (Illust) Misty and myself on the cruise ship in the storm.
- These disciples were running with God
- Jesus was in the Boat with them.
- Don’t think that just because Jesus is with you that storms won’t come
- Jesus was in the Boat with them.
- Storms also come when you are running for God
- Mt 14:22 ¶ And straightway Jesus constrained his
disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while
he sent the multitudes away.
- These disciples were doing something that Jesus specifically asked them to do.
- The storm still came
- Mt 14:22 ¶ And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.
- Storms also come when you are running from God
- Jon 1:3 But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD. 4 ¶ But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.
- Jesus has power over your situation
- Lu 8:24 And they came to him, and awoke him,
saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the
raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.
- Could God have prevented the storm from ever
- Why didn’t he?
- The answer lies in the question of V 25 Where is your faith?
- Could God have prevented the storm from ever coming?
- Lu 8:24 And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.
- The storms of life are preparation for our future
- V26 tells
us that when they reached the other side they were face to face with the
- A man possessed with an army of demons
- Who was completely transformed for the Glory of God.
Blessings in Jesus Dear Name!
