Andy Moore (Brazil) Our family is back in Brazil after spending six month in the U.S. It was so nice to get back to some warm weather and a blessing to see our Brazilian church family and to enter the new year together with them. We are excited and optimistic as we enter this year with all it’s opportunities and challenges. Please continue to pray for our church as we transition to national leadership. Thank you for your prayers and support in 2018. –The Moores
Bobby Poole (Brazil) A young man came up to me a few days ago and said, “Pastor Bobby, I want to thank you and Da. Geni for the difference you both made in my life and in my family”. He and his family attend the First FWB Church of Ribeirão Preto. His story started about 45 years ago. It was after we had moved into our permanent location, his Great Grandmother and aunt started attending the Church. His Aunt later became our daughter-in-law. The family now attends the First Church. I thanked him for his comments and praise the Lord that we were used to make a “difference”. How do we make a “difference”? There is no verse saying “go and make a difference in this world” Thinking about this, the Lord laid on my heart His message to Paul in Acts 26:17-18 “Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” Think about these words: every person that we win to the Lord, their eyes have been opened, and turned from darkness to light and “turned” from the power of Satan unto God, and they have received the forgiveness of their sins and are now heirs of the Lord. I would say, from the above, that to lead a person to the Lord, on a mission field or in the States, we all are making a “DIFFERENCE”!
Carlisle Hanna (India) Pray for Brother Carlisle Hanna as he continues in India. He is working with the pastors, church planters, and evangelist as they seek to reach several villages. They hope to establish churches among these people. Pray for those several young men who wish to attend Bible College. Pray for several who were baptized recently. Praise the Lord for the good VBS in South India. Please continue to pray the villages where Pastor Phillip who died recently worked which need pastors. Pray that Brother Carlisle will be able to renew his visa in August without difficulty. Praise the Lord for souls coming to Christ!
David Aycock (Brazil) Thank you South Carolina for your prayers and financial support. The Lord is giving increase as we plow, plant and water. He has provided opportunities to conduct Evangelisric Bible Studies, helping new converts through Discipleship studies as well preparing others for church membership. The men of our church are volunteering every Saturday to paint the primer on the interior walls of the school. We are grateful for the special offerings given toward the construction of our Christian School. With gratitude, David and Annette
Frank and Tarri Dillon (Monk’s Corner) Frank and Tarri Dillon, Please continue to pray for the Monk Corner mission. The field is definitely WHITE ALREADY FOR HARVEST. We’re excited about what God’s going to. Do pray for us that we would be the Labors in the field that pleases Christ. If the spirit leads you and you would like us the come to your church by all means call us @ 304-731-9192 or email us @ firstname.lastname@example.org we pray for you all and your work . May Christ lay his hand on all your endeavors and prosper you. email@example.com
Jonathan/Amy Postlewaite (Bulgaria)
This Friday, May 31st, we will be hosting an English game night at a local coffee shop through which we hope to make some new connections. The last time we had a good turnout and even had someone from that event come to an event connected to our church. We are praying that we will meet some new people who will be interested in some future activities connected both with our English clubs and with our church. Pray that there will be a good turnout and that we will be able to eventually share the gospel with some of the people who come. Next Saturday June 8th we will be hosting our third Explore God discussion group. The theme will be “Why does God allow pain and suffering?”. Please pray that we will have a good turnout for this event and that the time of discussion will help create opportunities for us to share the gospel. Yesterday I ran into J, one of the students whom I have mentioned in previous emails. J is from Canada and while he is from a Muslim background describes himself as an agnostic. As a student, J is currently very stressed out because of his exams and he is also still dealing with a breakup that hit him pretty hard. Unlike a lot of students, J will be in Pleven throughout the summer so there will be opportunities for us to get together several times. Pray that God will help me to know how to minister to him and that I will be able to help him to understand how he can find truth and peace and unfailing love in Jesus Christ.
Matt/Hailie Deckard (Ecuador) Please pray for endurance for our team; as we all will be very busy over the next couple of months, and also safety and prepared hearts of the people that will be coming down to serve with us. firstname.lastname@example.org
Neil/ Mandi Morgan (Spain) Please be in prayer as the Esperanza church meets Wednesday night (1PM EST). The church will be meeting to discuss several ideas for future outreaches and ministry along with discussing several other important issues. Please pray for God’s guidance and godly discernment.
Randy/Kris Valandingham (Aiken) We thank everyone for their continual prayers and support for the work here at Rejoice Fellowship. Please remember Bro Randy as he recovers from a recent stint.
Tim/ Kristi Johnson (Spain) We’ve now completed our first 10 weeks of conversation classes in our new target area. Each week has brought in new people and has given us a chance to get to know our “regulars” even better. We’ve had at 29 new people attend our sessions, and are so thankful for the opportunity to build relationships with them. It’s interesting to us that they actually come from several different towns, all of which are in our “target area”. Pray that our conversations will lead to spiritual matters and ultimately to people coming to Christ.
Mirial Gainer (Japan) I thought I was finished with neck braces, but am back in a
soft brace after a recent fall. I’m also in a splint for my left hand due to severe inflammation of arthritis. Mother just turned 95. She is failing more physically and mentally. Please remember her in your prayers and me as I care for her.
