Missions

Andy Moore (Brazil) Our family is back in Brazil after spending six month in the U.S. It was so nice to get back to some warm weather and a blessing to see our Brazilian church family and to enter the new year together with them.  We are excited and optimistic as we enter this year with all it’s opportunities and challenges.  Please continue to pray for our church as we transition to national leadership. Thank you for your prayers and support in 2018. –The Moores

Bobby Poole (Brazil) I praise the Lord for the health He has given me over these 83 years. I have never had an operation of any kind, nor put in the hospital for something. But it looks like that within the next 10 days I will be having Cataraca surgery on both eyes. I would like to ask for the prayers of our people, especially during these next couple of weeks. Also remember the Marincek Church. The Church elected a new pastor but unhappily some did not like the one that was called. We had 5 families to leave the Church (two of the men were deacons) and I feel that they did not leave in love and some are doing their best to take some that stayed with the Church, out! Pray for Pr. Myron and his dear wife, as they are working hard to get the church going in the right direction, for the glory of our Lord! I am hurt as these that left the Church would not accept the majority vote of the Church to call Pr. Myron. The devil, also works, here in Brazil!!!

Carlisle Hanna (India) Pray for Brother Carlisle Hanna as he continues in India.  He is working with the pastors, church planters, and evangelist as they seek to reach several villages.  They hope to establish churches among these people. Pray for those several young men who wish to attend Bible College. Pray for several who were baptized recently. Praise the Lord for the good VBS in South India. Please continue to pray the villages where Pastor Phillip who died recently worked which need pastors.  Pray that Brother Carlisle will be able to renew his visa in August without difficulty. Praise the Lord for souls coming to Christ!

David Aycock  (Brazil) Thank you South Carolina for your prayers and financial support. The Lord is giving increase as we plow, plant and water. He has  provided opportunities to conduct Evangelisric Bible Studies, helping new converts through Discipleship studies as well preparing others for church membership. The men of our church are volunteering every Saturday to paint the primer on the interior walls of the school. We are grateful for the special offerings given toward the construction of our Christian School. With gratitude, David and Annette

Frank and Tarri Dillon (Monk’s Corner) Frank and Tarri Dillon, Please continue to pray for the Monk Corner mission. The field is definitely WHITE ALREADY FOR HARVEST. We’re excited about what God’s going to. Do pray for us that we would be the Labors in the field that pleases Christ. If the spirit leads you and you would like us the come to your church by all means call us @ 304-731-9192 or email us @ fkellydillon@aol.com we pray for you all and your work . May Christ lay his hand on all your endeavors and prosper you. fkellydillon@aol.com

Jonathan/Amy Postlewaite (Bulgaria)

Pray for S, a lady from the village of Odarne who is currently working in Scotland. She is not a question but has expressed interest in what she has heard from us. Please pray for her children who are being taken care of by their relatives in Odarne. Pray for her health as it hasn’t been too many months since she had a serious operation that could still make certain physical tasks difficult. Also pray for her and her youngest daughter as later this summer they will be going to Christian camp for the first time. This coming Sunday, May 26th we will be hosting another monthly gathering in our home. We will be talking about Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. Please pray that we will see some new people come and that they will be interested in learning more about the Bible and about Jesus Christ, the resurrection and the life. Pray that the Christians who regularly come will have the boldness to invite friends and family members and that those whom they invite will accept their invitation. We will be traveling to the city of Shumen tomorrow for another team meeting which will last through Saturday. Please pray that God will use this time together to encourage the members of our team and that He will grant us wisdom as we plan for the next several months of ministry together,

Matt/Hailie Deckard (Ecuador) Please pray for endurance for our team; as we all will be very busy over the next couple of months, and also safety and prepared hearts of the people that will be coming down to serve with us. mattdeckard.10@gmail.com

Neil/ Mandi Morgan (Spain) Please be in prayer as the Esperanza church meets Wednesday night (1PM EST). The church will be meeting to discuss several ideas for future outreaches and ministry along with discussing several other important issues. Please pray for God’s guidance and godly discernment.

Randy/Kris Valandingham (Aiken) We thank everyone for their continual prayers and support for the work here at Rejoice Fellowship. Please remember Bro Randy as he recovers from a recent stint.

Tim/ Kristi Johnson (Spain) One of our busiest seasons is on the horizon.  We will soon be having many end-of-the-year activities with the Alpedrete Church and our English Conversation groups.  We will also host two groups of teenagers in Spain this summer.  Please pray for wisdom as we make these plans and time to get everything done that is on our schedule.  We appreciate you joining us on this journey!

Mirial Gainer (Japan) My eyes are doing well after cataract surgery. I’m using glasses for reading but not for driving. I’m finally finished with my neck braces. So thankful that the surgery was successful and the numbness in my hands is gone. I would appreciate continued prayers for Mother and for me as I care for her.
