Andy Moore (Brazil) Our family is back in Brazil after spending six month in the U.S. It was so nice to get back to some warm weather and a blessing to see our Brazilian church family and to enter the new year together with them. We are excited and optimistic as we enter this year with all it’s opportunities and challenges. Please continue to pray for our church as we transition to national leadership. Thank you for your prayers and support in 2018. –The Moores
Bobby Poole (Brazil) I praise the Lord for the health He has given me over these 83 years. I have never had an operation of any kind, nor put in the hospital for something. But it looks like that within the next 10 days I will be having Cataraca surgery on both eyes. I would like to ask for the prayers of our people, especially during these next couple of weeks. Also remember the Marincek Church. The Church elected a new pastor but unhappily some did not like the one that was called. We had 5 families to leave the Church (two of the men were deacons) and I feel that they did not leave in love and some are doing their best to take some that stayed with the Church, out! Pray for Pr. Myron and his dear wife, as they are working hard to get the church going in the right direction, for the glory of our Lord! I am hurt as these that left the Church would not accept the majority vote of the Church to call Pr. Myron. The devil, also works, here in Brazil!!!
Carlisle Hanna (India) Please pray for Bro. Carlisle, Don, Mark, and Sis. Milly Hanna as they traveled to India on March 10,and 12. Pray for Hostel (Boy’s Home) ministry. Pray for South India and Nepal ministry.
David Aycock (Brazil) Thank you South Carolina for your prayers and financial support. The Lord is giving increase as we plow, plant and water. He has provided opportunities to conduct Evangelisric Bible Studies, helping new converts through Discipleship studies as well preparing others for church membership. The men of our church are volunteering every Saturday to paint the primer on the interior walls of the school. We are grateful for the special offerings given toward the construction of our Christian School. With gratitude, David and Annette
Frank and Tarri Dillon (Monk’s Corner) Frank and Tarri Dillon, Please continue to pray for the Monk Corner mission. The field is definitely WHITE ALREADY FOR HARVEST. We’re excited about what God’s going to. Do pray for us that we would be the Labors in the field that pleases Christ. If the spirit leads you and you would like us the come to your church by all means call us @ 304-731-9192 or email us @ firstname.lastname@example.org we pray for you all and your work . May Christ lay his hand on all your endeavors and prosper you. email@example.com
Jonathan/Amy Postlewaite (Bulgaria)
Please continue to pray for our efforts to reach interested people in the village of Odarne. Very soon we hope to pursue one idea as far as a place to meet and are praying that God will give us wisdom in making the decision. Please continue to pray for our efforts to establish relationships through our English Clubs. While most of the people who show interest end up dropping off after a short time there are a few people who have attended faithfully for a while. Just yesterday a new guy contacted us about practicing his English, we will get together on Friday to find out how I can help him. Pray that God will bless our efforts and that we will be able to help people to discover salvation which can only be found in Jesus Christ. Pray for M, the young daughter of Slavka, a Christian widow from Odarne. While we are not clear on all of the details we know that yesterday she had to come to the hospital here in Pleven because of something that happened to her stomach. Later today we will go visit them in the hospital. Please pray that there is nothing seriously wrong with her and that she will be able to return home soon.
Matt/Hailie Deckard (Ecuador) Please pray for endurance for our team; as we all will be very busy over the next couple of months, and also safety and prepared hearts of the people that will be coming down to serve with us. firstname.lastname@example.org
Neil/ Mandi Morgan (Spain) Our youngest daughter attends a public school in our neighborhood. There are 25 students in her class. We have invited all of them to an Easter egg hunt this Thursday after school in a nearby park. Since egg hunts are not common in Spain, this will be a new experience for all of those in her class. Many have said they are coming and excited about it. Please be in prayer that through this we will be able to build deeper relationships with the parents. Please also be in prayer for our Easter services. We are preparing a skit to be performed during the morning services. Please be in prayer for the skit preparation, that we will have many unsaved guests, and that they will see the power of the resurrection through every aspect of the service. email@example.com
Randy/Kris Valandingham (Aiken) We thank everyone for their continual prayers and support for the work here at Rejoice Fellowship. Please remember Bro Randy as he recovers from a recent stint.
Tim/ Kristi Johnson (Spain) Yesterday Alejandro arrived in Spain, after completing his first year at Welch College. Needless to say, it is great to have him back with us for the summer. Last night we had another English conversation time in our target area with 15 people there! WOW! Pray that we will find time and creative ways to nurture each of the relationships that are forming during these sessions. We appreciate all of you!
Mirial Gainer (Japan) My eyes are doing well after cataract surgery. I’m using glasses for reading but not for driving. I’m finally finished with my neck braces. So thankful that the surgery was successful and the numbness in my hands is gone. I would appreciate continued prayers for Mother and for me as I care for her.

Are you fit to lead?
What do you think of when you hear the word leader? Do you think of prestige, honor and glory, maybe the satisfaction of making all the decisions? If this is your idea of what leadership is then you are probably not fit for leadership in the church. I think it is time for some spiritual fitness. Here are some signs that you are not fit to lead.
you think you are where you are because of your own capacity.
- If you look at your life and the dominant thought is that you deserve to be here because you worked so hard, then you aren’t fit to lead
- This was kind of the problem the disciples had with James and John. Mom wanted them to be in the top two positions of leadership. She probably felt that they had worked hard and deserved it.
- Lu 14:11 For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
you are not grounded in the word.
- Eph 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
you are not willing to serve
- 26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
