Andy Moore (Brazil) The ministry in Juiz de Fora, Brazil continues to progress. In July, we had V.B.S. and two teens from our church got saved at youth camp. Currently, our family is in the U.S. and will be here through Christmas. We are reconnecting with our churches, while our kids attend Christian school for a semester. In our absence the associate pastor, Luiz Carlos, is leading the church and its ministries.
Bobby Poole (Brazil) The Marincek Church has a new pastor. Pr. Myron. Please pray for him and all our pastors, here in Brasil. FWB have invested a lot over the years and our missionaries and Churches have made a “Difference”. To our Lord all the glory!
Carlisle Hanna (India) Is stateside. Please remember him in his travels and ministry. Pray for pastor Phillip Das as he was in an accident recently. Please remember the works in North & South India as well as Nepal.
David Aycock (Brazil) We are gearing up for Christmas activities and presentations. Materials are not always readily available so we normally have to write or translate our Christmas plays. These are opportunities to have new people to attend our special activities. Our Seminary classes are going well and we plan to finish the beginning of December. We are offering membership classes for those who were recently baptized. Thank you South Carolina for your prayers and financial support.
Jonathan/Amy Postlewaite Pray for M and C, two female international students who Amy had in our house last night. M is a Muslim from Iraq who grew up in Canada and C is from Germany. Throughout the course of their conversation they talked quite a bit about religion and Amy was able to tell them what we believe about Jesus Christ and about salvation. Please pray that the seed of the gospel that was planted will take root and that these two girls will make a decision to give their lives to Christ. Please pray for the various Christmas events that we have begun to plan for the month of December. We are waiting to find out if the mayor of Odarne, the village where we lead a kids’ Bible club, will allow the kids from the club to perform a couple of skits at the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. We will host a party with Operation Christmas Child boxes for the children of workers in a clothing factory in another village called Koinare. Also, Instead of meeting in our house for our monthly “gathering” in December, we will be conducting a Christmas service in the same building where we have held services in the past and where we currently host our English clubs. Please pray that through these events we will be able to make known the true meaning of Christmas and that we will be expand the kingdom in our area. Pray for H, a guy who came to the event we conducted with the group from France in August and with whom I have met for coffee a couple of times. He has shown an interest in the Bible, but I haven’t yet been able to get him to do a Bible study with me. Based on the messages I have received from him lately, I believe that he may seriously struggle with fear and insecurity over certain things. Please pray that God will give me the wisdom to say the right things to help him with this problem and that he will come to know that Jesus can help him deal with his fears.
Matt/Hailie Deckard (Ecuador) Please pray for endurance for our team; as we all will be very busy over the next couple of months, and also safety and prepared hearts of the people that will be coming down to serve with us. email@example.com
