Andy Moore (Brazil) This November, our church celebrated 8 years of ministry here in Juiz de Fora, Brazil. Please pray for God´s power on the service and for the continuing ministry here in this spiritually needy city of over 550,000 souls. –Andy Moore and family
Bobby Poole (Brazil) we are in our summer vacation time here in Brasil, so we are having a Mini VBS of 3 days. The interest and response for workers has been a great blessing. We have 15 people signed up to work during the VBS. Being summer time, some of these are on vacation, and thereby, able to help. We have two names, that I keep hearing from our people, about possibly becoming our pastor, taking my place. Continue to pray. Also during the Carnaval week-end, the First Church is promoting its 45th Family Retreat. Geneva and I started this 45 years ago. The dates are Feb. 10-13.
Carlisle Hanna (India) Please remember Bro. Carlisle as he is currently in India. Also please be much in prayer for the upcoming Conference as an estimated 10,000 people plus will be attending!
David Aycock (Brazil) We are hoping to complete the construction of the Christian School by July of 2018. We need $65,000 to restart the construction after a pause after we depleted our funds. Please continue to pray with us and give as the Lord directs. Annette and I are grateful for you partnering with us. Pray for the following prayer requests: 1) funding for the construction of the Christian School, 2) six students who are studying Old Testament Survey, 3) three young people who are doing our discipleship class and 4) Rodney (our son-in-law) is providing an evangelistic English class for adults and has reached several unsaved adults.
Jonathan/Amy Postlewaite- Please be praying for our monthly “gathering” which will be taking place this Sunday, January 28th. The theme is “Jesus: the great teacher”. Pray that everyone who has been invited will attend and the unbelievers who are there will want to know more about Jesus because of what they hear while they are there. Pray for a man named Anatoli who works at the company where I buy car insurance. He has been very friendly when I have seen him outside of the office and seems to be very open to conversation about various topics. Pray that I will cross paths with him again soon and that that I will be able to have some conversations with him over coffee. In the past I have asked you to pray for Didka, a lady who worked in the little store around the corner from our house. Didka lost her husband recently. I learned over the weekend that she know longer works at that store. We do not know where she lives and have no way to get in touch with her. Please pray that God will help us to cross paths with her again soon so that we can continue to show her the love of Christ.
Matt/Hailie Deckard (Ecuador) Greetings from Sunny or Rainy (depending upon the time of day) Ecuador. We want to first say thank you all for praying for us as we are in language school! The Lord certainly is blessing here as we continue our time in full time study! He is also opening doors for us to share with our language teachers as well. Just this week I, Matt, have had the opportunity to talk with my professor about the church, persecution, and various other topics in the New Testament. Also, next week we, along with two teammates also in language school, have the opportunity to have our professors in our home for Thanksgiving to share this wonderful part of our culture with them. Please pray that God would produce fruit from these opportunities. firstname.lastname@example.org
Neil/ Mandi Morgan (Spain) We have started traveling to churches to share about the wonderful things God is doing in Spain. Please pray for us as we travel, for our services, and for the provision of the monthly support we need to return to the field. Please also continue to pray for the sale of our present church building and the Esperanza church as it begins to look for a larger building for the growing congregation.
Randy/Kris Valandingham (Aiken). Pray for them as they continue to minister in Aiken.
Tim/ Kristi Johnson (Spain) One of realities of missionary life is that we have to attend lots of meetings. In this next week, we have quite a few important meetings. On Thursday morning, we will be having a team meeting with our fellow missionaries, Anthony and Lea Edgmon, who have been on stateside assignment for the past six months. We have a LOT of catching up as well as planning to do. Thursday afternoon Tim will be meeting with several men in the Alpedrete Church who handle the preaching responsibilities. They will be working on the preaching schedule and planning future sermon series and events. On Sunday, the Alpedrete Church Board (including Tim) will have their bi-monthly meeting with many items on the agenda for the coordination and growth of the church. Thanks for your prayers for each of these times, that God will give us wisdom as we work to advance His kingdom here in Spain.

It’s My Heart!!!
I recently listened to Ron Hutchcraft describe a routine check-up for late night tv host David Letterman. The normally jovial and downright juvenile Letterman, went in for a routine check-up only to have his doctor rush him into the operating room to conduct emergency open heart surgery.
You see the physician didn’t look at outward appearance of Letterman, but instead concentrated on the problem within his heart.
That is exactly what the great physician did for me!
Eze 18:31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
