Disaster Relief Efforts
**SPEACIAL UPDATE**Leonard Restoration Project
After the removal of interior household items from the house and with further inspection of the existing structure it was deemed a better use of funds and time to demolish the structure and bring in a manufactured home. Though this is a change from the specifics of our original intentions, it is a given that when dealing with structural issues on homes over 40 years old that there can be many hidden costs which are unable to be foreseen until actual work begins. Thank you for your continued prayers for sister Myra Leonard.
Current Scheduled work days are put on hold and will be announced as the need arises

WMO Sunday is April 29th
Andy Moore (Brazil) The Lord continues to move here in Juiz de Fora, Brazil. We have seen an increase in families visiting our church recently, many who do not know the Lord. Help us pray for the power of God to convert souls. Also, we have a praise item. After two years of preparation and paperwork, our church passed the fire department´s rigorous inspection. Our next step is to register our building at the town hall and we will finally be able to cover our terrace for some much needed Sunday school rooms and a fellowship hall.
Bobby Poole (Brazil) Sunday night I visited the first Church that Geneva and I started in Ribeirão Preto. A baby dedication was part of the service. I was invited because the baby was my first “Great” Granddaughter! She and my second “Great” grandaughter (born just two days before this service) are 2 of 17 babies born to young couples in the First Church, in the last year and a half! The First Church must be doing something right to have that many young couples in the Church! Praise our Lord!
Carlisle Hanna (India) Please remember Bro. Carlisle as he is currently in India. Conference was a great success! Please remember Binita (wife of Rev. Evan Guha) as she continues to recover from medical complications during childbirth and their newborn son Ryan. Please remember the works in North & South India as well as Nepal.
David Aycock (Brazil) The Lord continues to bless His work here in Barbacena, Brazil. Please pray for Vanessa. Annette and I are doing an Evangelistic Bible study with her and we hoping she will make a decision soon. We have 18 people enrolled in our Seminary (Bible College level courses). The work continues on the construction of the Christian School. We appreciate your prayers and financial support. Please prayerfully consider having a special offering for the construction of the school. Thank you, David and Annette Aycock
Jonathan/Amy Postlewaite . Over the last week we’ve been very encouraged by good response when we have invited people to our Easter worship service and kid’s party. We are expecting a good turnout for both. Please be praying that the simultaneous events will serve to help people understand the truth of the resurrection and that we will be able to maintain any new connections that we are able to make. Please be praying for the group of teenagers from Trinity Christian School in Greenville, NC who will be arriving this Saturday, April 7th. Please pray that their week-long cultural exchange with a group of high school students in Svishtov will serve to help the church have a stronger connection with the community and that their positive example will have a effect on their new Bulgarian friends. Please pray for Mr. G – the student from Sweden who I started discipleship with a few weeks ago. He decided to return to Sweden for a while. We are planning on continuing discipleship over Skype if possible. Please pray that he will be able to find some good Christian influences that can help him grow in his faith while he is in Sweden.
Matt/Hailie Deckard (Ecuador) Greetings from Sunny or Rainy (depending upon the time of day) Ecuador. We want to first say thank you all for praying for us as we are in language school! The Lord certainly is blessing here as we continue our time in full time study! He is also opening doors for us to share with our language teachers as well. Just this week I, Matt, have had the opportunity to talk with my professor about the church, persecution, and various other topics in the New Testament. Also, next week we, along with two teammates also in language school, have the opportunity to have our professors in our home for Thanksgiving to share this wonderful part of our culture with them. Please pray that God would produce fruit from these opportunities. firstname.lastname@example.org
Neil/ Mandi Morgan (Spain) The last few weeks have been super busy, but it has been a blessing to worship and share about our ministry with so many of you. Please continue to pray as we travel and report about what God is doing in Spain. Please specifically pray for the funds we need to return to the field. We currently need about $1275 more a month to be able to leave in June.
Our church in Spain will begin a new Bible study/discipleship class tomorrow night. Please continue to pray for our church and its continued growth. The church is still looking for a larger facility to rent. Please continue to pray for the right location to open up quickly. email@example.com
Randy/Kris Valandingham (Aiken). We had a great Easter Sunday service. We had 48 in attendance and the Lord was moving. Had an Easter egg hunt and had a great turn out. Pray for us as we continue to outreach into the community here in Aiken. firstname.lastname@example.org or cell 803-306-4429.

Just Shake It Off!
A teacher wanted to teach her students about self-esteem, so she asked anyone who thought they were stupid to stand up. One kid stood up and the teacher was surprised. She didn’t think anyone would stand up so she asked him, “Why did you stand up?” He answered, “I didn’t want to leave you standing up by yourself.”
Any of you ever had criticism like this poor teacher? Probably so; whether you are the criticizer or the criticized these next few words are for you…
Ac 28:5 And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.
I want to leave readers with two quick points about dealing with adversity and criticism from our close brethren.
- The Criticizers need to lighten up. I believe I speak with authority when I say this, God did not appoint you CCO of his church “Chief Criticizing Officer”. So lighten up….
- The Criticized need to toughen up. In life and especially ministry you need thick skin and slanted shoulders. Quit taking everything so personal and try to shake it off.
- This snake that bit the Apostle Paul, was a serious enemy but because the Lord was on Paul’s side he had nothing to fear.
