Bobby Poole (Brazil) Times like Easter and Christmas is when our Church here really misses Geneva. She had a real love for drama, plays and such. This year the First FWB Church (Ribeirão Preto), choir will give two presentations in the First Church, on the 16th and 17th. Especially, on the 16th the Ipiranga and Marincek Churches are invited. They also have been invited to sing in 3 hospitals. The Marincek Church will have a small program on Sunday night, the 17th. The Lord has been good to us this year! Thanks for your prayers. May all of our people have a blessed Christmas and a great, for the glory of our Lord, 2018!
Carlisle Hanna (India) Please remember Bro. Carlisle and Mark as they will be traveling to India on the 27th. Also please be in prayerful consideration of Bro. Carlisle’s deficit account as well as the ongoing ministry in India.
David Aycock (Brazil) We are hoping to complete the construction of the Christian School by July of 2018. We need $65,000 to restart the construction after a pause after we depleted our funds. Please continue to pray with us and give as the Lord directs. Annette and I are grateful for you partnering with us. Pray for the following prayer requests: 1) funding for the construction of the Christian School, 2) six students who are studying Old Testament Survey, 3) three young people who are doing our discipleship class and 4) Rodney (our son-in-law) is providing an evangelistic English class for adults and has reached several unsaved adults.
Jonathan/Amy Postlewaite- This Sunday December 17th, we will host our third monthly “gathering.” The theme will be “Jesus – the light of the world.” We are hoping to invite those in attendance to participate in a Bible reading plan that will start at the beginning of January and to really begin pushing to start some weekly local Bible studies with people who attend. Please pray that God will prepare the hearts of those who will attend for the truth they are going to hear.Over the next week we will be participating in several Christmas outreach parties in Pleven and the surrounding area. At each of these parties gifts from Operation Christmas Child will be handed out and the Gospel will be presented. Please pray that there will be a lasting impact from these efforts. A few of the parties will be held in villages that currently do not have an evangelical church and we are praying that we might be able to connect with people who would be interested in studying the Bible. Continue to pray for Yaro, a man who attended our last “gathering” because a friend who attends our church in Svishtov told him about us. Shortly after writing this email I will leave to have coffee with him. Please pray that we will be able to share more about Christ with him as we get to know him better. Pray also that we will be willing to connect with us others who might also be interested in studying the Bible and learning about Christ.
Matt/Hailie Deckard (Ecuador) Greetings from Sunny or Rainy (depending upon the time of day) Ecuador. We want to first say thank you all for praying for us as we are in language school! The Lord certainly is blessing here as we continue our time in full time study! He is also opening doors for us to share with our language teachers as well. Just this week I, Matt, have had the opportunity to talk with my professor about the church, persecution, and various other topics in the New Testament. Also, next week we, along with two teammates also in language school, have the opportunity to have our professors in our home for Thanksgiving to share this wonderful part of our culture with them. Please pray that God would produce fruit from these opportunities. firstname.lastname@example.org

God With Us?
Mt 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
You may be wondering why I put a question mark at the end of God With Us. The reason is because of the “awe” that statement inspires. Why would God who is High, and Holy want to leave the splendors of heaven and the right hand side of His Heavenly Father to come and live among the sinful people of this world? Oh wonder of wonders, that God would be with us. What Love the Father has shown us!
