SCFWB Weekly Vol 4 No 46
November 22, 2017
ACTIVE SHOOTER!!! Is your church prepared? The FWB State Office is currently in conversation with multiple Law enforcement agencies to provide training to our FWB Churches, on issues like “What to do in the event of an active shooter, How to implement appropriate security measures that will not impede ministry, should the leadership be armed, what does the bible say about all this?” This will be a one day event available to the leadership of all of our SC Free Will Baptist Churches. We are currently working on a venue, and date. More information to come!
Pastors and Church Leaders we are updating all church information on the website. We would like to have the most accurate information available for you. Please visit www.scfwb.com and search for your church’s name in tool bar. Email me back with any corrections to services times and addresses. Please provide an updated picture of your church if you would like it included on the site.
Randall House has launched FreeWillBaptistAuthors.com, a website that features all Free Will Baptist authors, regardless of where the book was published. Authors in good standing with a member church of the National Association of Free Will Baptists may submit books to be included on the website. Go to http://freewillbaptistauthors.com for details.

Bobby Poole (Brazil) We baptized 3 new converts on Oct. 22. Please pray for them and their families. A lady, that was baptized, invited her husband and he came! He is a Spiritist. I pray that the Holy Spirit is working in his heart. Continue to pray for our business meeting of the Church, the first part of December. David Aycock (Brazil) We are hoping to complete the construction of the Christian School by July of 2018. We need $65,000 to restart the construction after a pause after we depleted our funds. Please continue to pray with us and give as the Lord directs. Annette and I are grateful for you partnering with us. Pray for the following prayer requests: 1) funding for the construction of the Christian School, 2) six students who are studying Old Testament Survey, 3) three young people who are doing our discipleship class and 4) Rodney (our son-in-law) is providing an evangelistic English class for adults and has reached several unsaved adults.
Jonathan/Amy Postlewaite – Next Sunday, November 26th we will be hosting our second “gathering” in our house. The theme will be family. Please pray that we will have a good turnout and that people will understand the love of God the Father. Pray for Miss. L , a young lady, who works at the store at which we buy meat. She has shown interest in learning English in the past and therefore we have been able to talk to her some. Recently, she has told us about her desire to move to England because she thinks things will be better there for her. Pray that we will be able to get to know her better and that we will be able to help her to understand that true happiness can be found not by living in a certain place, but by believing in Jesus Christ as one’s Lord and Savior. Please pray for my efforts to share the Gospel with Mr. I – whose sister is a part of our work. He works as a security guard at a construction site very near to where we live so I plan on going by to see him often. He has come to one of our events and seems open to talking about the Bible.
