Ladies, it is the time of year we need to be sending our WNAC dues to the SCWAC Treasurer, Cathy Logan. Please mail them to her by November 19th at 1580 Potter Rd., Lancaster, SC, 29572. I would appreciate your immediate response to this request. Waiting to pay our dues at the state meeting in March doesn’t give us a true picture of our membership for our state. The Beaver Creek WAC can pay their dues at our annual Prayer and Praise Rally being held at Fairview on November 11th. Please share this information. Thank you for your time and attention to this important request. Sis. Pam Hackett

We are planning a special service on the 12th and hoping to fill the church with visitors and preach the gospel to them. Please pray for God´s power on the service and for the continuing ministry here in this spiritually needy city of over 550,000 souls. –Andy Moore and family
Bobby Poole (Brazil) We baptized 3 new converts on Oct. 22. Please pray for them and their families. A lady, that was baptized, invited her husband and he came! He is a Spiritist. Pray that the Lord will show us the right person to come in as pastor.

David Aycock (Brazil) We are hoping to complete the construction of the Christian School by July of 2018. We need $65,000 to restart the construction after a pause after we depleted our funds. Please continue to pray with us and give as the Lord directs. Annette and I are grateful for you partnering with us. Pray for the following prayer requests: 1) funding for the construction of the Christian School, 2) six students who are studying Old Testament Survey, 3) three young people who are doing our discipleship class and 4) Rodney (our son-in-law) is providing an evangelistic English class for adults and has reached several unsaved adults.
Jonathan/Amy Postlewaite – This coming Saturday Nov 11th, Amy will be hosting another women’s gathering. This time the theme will be patience. Please pray that it will be well attended and that we will make some new contacts through the event. Pray also that those in attendance will respond to the truths that are presented. As we are still in the early steps of our efforts to make disciples and plant a church here in Pleven, one of our main focuses is still doing whatever we can to meet people, whether through organized events or by getting out into the city. Would you please pray that God would guide us to people whose hearts are ready to receive the Gospel and that we would have the boldness to share the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ, even with the people who we may have just met.

Most people think Jesus was a “hulky hero” wandering around righting wrongs and being adored by almost everyone. Scriptural reality paints a very different picture. [Scripture below is taken from Isaiah 53]
Jesus was not a good looking handsome dude whom all the girls wanted to date- “he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.”
Jesus was not the “life of the party” that everyone wanted to know and “hang” with. Nor was He insulated from heartache and pain- “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief”.
Jesus was misunderstood by His family-(“neither did his brethren believe in him”- John 7:5) and judged by the establishment to be worthy of God’s anger and wrath- “we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted”.
And, instead of supporting Him, His disciples and the very people He was soon to die for abandoned Him or cried “crucify Him”-“we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not”
The reality is “He came unto his own, and his own received him not BUT (New Radical Reality) as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1:11-12). Make that your life changing reality today!
