Andy Moore (Brazil)  We are praising the Lord for His presence and blessings on the ministry here in Juiz de Fora.  Our new church building has encouraged many new visitors to attend our services.  We have also started offering again free English classes on Saturdays which is creating a lot of contacts for evangelism.  Please remember our family in your prayers as we start the 16th year of our ministry in Brazil.

Bobby Poole (Brazil) Healthwise, I am doing fine. I am serving as Pastor of the Marincek Church, This month we have a young pastor from the First Church (John´s Church) that is preaching two times a month. I preach the other 2 or 3 Sundays in the month. I am teaching the Adult SS Class and leading the service on Wednesday night. Marincek is about 8 or 9 miles from where I live. So I have to go all the way across town to make a visit. The traffic is about what it was in the States, some 50 years ago. Traffic jams are very common. So, for a retired preacher, missionary, I am doing pretty good.

Carlisle Hanna (India) Please remember Bro. Carlisle as he is in India now, and will heading to South India for their Annual Conference. Pray for the work there that God would bless.

David Aycock  (Brazil) Thank you for your prayers. After a five week Bible study, Roberto got saved today (Monday). Please pray for his spiritual growth. Thank you for your prayers and financial support. You made it possible!

Jonathan/Amy Postlewaite Please pray for us as we travel to Tennessee and then on to West Virginia, where we will stay until the end of June. Pray also about a bill that was recently put forward in the Bulgarian parliament. The bill is meant to target radical Islam, but because of its language it would affect the efforts of Christian missionaries as well.

Mirial Gainer God continues to work in hearts in Japan. Josh and Alicia Crowe live and work in the Tokyo suburb of Iruma. They enrolled their daughter Ruby in one of the many schools in the area. At a recent meeting of the mothers, Alicia began to talk with a woman named Sayuri. Sayuri was my roommate in hospital and my friend when I lived in that area. Only God could put Ruby in the same school and same class as Sayuri’s daughter so that the witness to her and her family could continue. They even live in the same neighborhood!

I look forward to an opportunity to share more of what God is doing in Japan. If you’re interested in my coming to share in your church or women’s group, I am also available for the WMO services if anyone needs me. Please contact me at 507-208-5808 or let Bro Chris know (chris@scfwb.com). Thanks for your faithful financial and prayer support.

Neil/ Mandi Morgan (Spain) The idea of the community workshops by the Christian Police Association were presented to and approved by the mayor of Alcalá de Henares last week. We are excited about this opportunity for outreach. Please join us in praying as we work out the details of when and where these outreaches will take place in the city.nmorgan@fwbgo.com

Randy/Kris Valandingham (Aiken)! Have seen 7 people saved recently, and have 9 people to baptize. Please continue to pray for Rejoice FWB Fellowship as they minister in Aiken SC.

Tim/ Kristi Johnson (Spain) Pray for us as we work with our fellow missionaries to develop and carry-out our strategy for reaching more people in Spain with the Gospel. We recently spent several days meeting via video conference with our entire field team.  While it was encouraging to see what God is doing in each of our areas, we also realize that there are many ministries that still need to be filled.  Pray with us that God will give us wisdom as we fulfill His will, but also that He will provide new workers to help with the ministry.

On This Day in History

According to German mathematician and astronomer Johannes Kepler, considered a founder of modern science, on this day in 4977 B.C., the universe was created. Kepler is best known for his theories explaining the motion of planets.

I’m not sure how Kepler came to this conclusion with regard to the birthday of the universe, nor how scientists can throw out large numbers like 13.7 billion with regard to its age, but I do understand that The Lord knows; after all he was there…

Da 7:9 I beheld till thrones were placed, and one that was ancient of days did sit: his raiment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery flames, and the wheels thereof burning fire.

 “Prosphero Theos”
