The South Carolina Women Active for Christ State Meeting will be held Saturday, March 17th at Fairview Free Will Baptist Church in Spartanburg, 2058 Chesnee HWY. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m.
We will be honoring Sherwood and Vada Lee for the many years they served as missionaries in Cote d’Ivoire and in our state as faithful leaders. Our scripture theme is from Joel 1:3, “Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.” Bro. Sherwood was privileged to return to Cote d’Ivoire last spring and he was able to witness the many changes that have occurred since he left the mission work to return to SC.

We want to always be supportive of investing in the lives of the young people in our state as they seek to follow the Lord in these areas of service.
The SC WAC Retreat will be held September 7th and 8th at White Oak Conference Center in Winnsboro. Kristi Johnson will be our guest speaker and we have an exciting time planned for our ladies. We will have a ‘gift card shower’ for their family at the retreat. Gift cards may be purchased at Walmart, Target, and Restaurants. Disaster Relief Efforts
**SPEACIAL UPDATE**Leonard Restoration Project
After the removal of interior household items from the house and with further inspection of the existing structure it was deemed a better use of funds and time to demolish the structure and bring in a manufactured home. Though this is a change from the specifics of our original intentions, it is a given that when dealing with structural issues on homes over 40 years old that there can be many hidden costs which are unable to be foreseen until actual work begins. Thank you for your continued prayers for sister Myra Leonard.
Current Scheduled work days are put on hold and will be announced as the need arises

WMO Sunday is April 29th
Andy Moore (Brazil) The Lord continues to move here in Juiz de Fora, Brazil. We have seen an increase in families visiting our church recently, many who do not know the Lord. Help us pray for the power of God to convert souls. Also, we have a praise item. After two years of preparation and paperwork, our church passed the fire department´s rigorous inspection. Our next step is to register our building at the town hall and we will finally be able to cover our terrace for some much needed Sunday school rooms and a fellowship hall.
Bobby Poole (Brazil) I tell people that working for the Lord is not always “a Sunday School Picnic”! There were hard times, but our FWB people stood with us in prayer, support and love! I praise the Lord for allowing Geneva and me to represent Him and our Church people, here in Brasil!
Carlisle Hanna (India) Please remember Bro. Carlisle as he is currently in India. Conference was a great success! Please remember the works in North & South India as well as Nepal.
David Aycock (Brazil) Two people have come to Christ since the beginning of the year. Flavio is a realtor and Danielle is in the Brazilian Air Force. Please for their spiritual growth and that they will have courage to stand for Him among their family members and friends. Our second daughter Breeana and her husband, JD (the Webbs) have been cleared to arrive the first of May to work in the Barbacena area. Pray for them as they make preparations. We are happy to announce that we have restarted the construction of the Christian School. We hope to finish the building in August (2018) and start the Brazilian school year in February of 2019. We need $70,000 to finish this project. Would you pray that God would meet this need? Would you consider giving a special offering for this cause?
Jonathan/Amy Postlewaite Please be praying for the women’s retreat that will be taking place outside of Svishtov over the weekend. It will be attended by women from our three works in the country (Pleven, Svishtov, Varna) as well as by two ladies visiting from West Virginia. Please pray that God will use this time to encourage and strengthen those who attend. Next Sunday March 25th we will be hosting another monthly “gathering” in our home. The theme for this meeting will be “Why did Jesus die?” and will present a very clear picture of how sin separates us from God and how Christ came as a sacrifice for our sins. Please pray that there will be people in attendance who have never heard this message before and that God will use His Word to show them the truth of their sin and the wonderful news of salvation. Please pray that God will give us wisdom in how best to take advantage of the Easter season to share the truth about Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection (Easter is on April 8th here in Bulgaria). There is the possibility for us to be able to hold a special Easter service, but we are still waiting to see if it is going to work out. Whatever ends up happening please pray that we will be able to share the truth and that people will be open to understanding who Christ truly is and what he wants to do in their life.
Matt/Hailie Deckard (Ecuador) Greetings from Sunny or Rainy (depending upon the time of day) Ecuador. We want to first say thank you all for praying for us as we are in language school! The Lord certainly is blessing here as we continue our time in full time study! He is also opening doors for us to share with our language teachers as well. Just this week I, Matt, have had the opportunity to talk with my professor about the church, persecution, and various other topics in the New Testament. Also, next week we, along with two teammates also in language school, have the opportunity to have our professors in our home for Thanksgiving to share this wonderful part of our culture with them. Please pray that God would produce fruit from these opportunities. firstname.lastname@example.org
Neil/ Mandi Morgan (Spain) The last few weeks have been super busy, but it has been a blessing to worship and share about our ministry with so many of you. Please continue to pray as we travel and report about what God is doing in Spain. Please specifically pray for the funds we need to return to the field. We currently need about $1275 more a month to be able to leave in June.
Our church in Spain will begin a new Bible study/discipleship class tomorrow night. Please continue to pray for our church and its continued growth. The church is still looking for a larger facility to rent. Please continue to pray for the right location to open up quickly.
Randy/Kris Valandingham (Aiken). God is continuing to bless us here at Rejoice Fellowship. We had a family join the church the last Sunday in February. We are in Revival this week through Wednesday night with Dr David Crowe and The Parsons. We would love to share our ministry with your church. If you would like to schedule us to come on a Sunday Night and share our ministry please contact us either email: email@example.com or cell 803-306-4429.
Tim/ Kristi Johnson (Spain) Even though we still have several months left before we leave Spain, we are already starting to make plans for our Stateside Assignment the second half of this year. We will be in South Carolina from mid-August through mid-December. If you would like for us to come and speak at your church, Sunday School, youth group, ladies’ group, men’s group, or other event, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re looking forward to seeing as many of you time will allow!
